Looking up the word "resolution" (thanks to Merriam Webster online), I found it was (among other things):

Imagine if all the resolutions in the world on the first of January 2015 had been acts to find answers or solutions to conflicts or problems. What a different place the world would be in 2015.
In 2015 I resolve to be more curious about the meaning of what I read and what is said to me and not to always take things at face value or take meaning for granted.
